KUNZE Food Solutions is a traditional company from the early days of the industrial bakery industry. We develop, manufacture and implement complete systems all over the world. We see ourselves as a strategic turnkey supplier for the bakery industry and as an engineering and manufacturing partner for renowned companies with line expertise in the food industry. With decades of experience and technically highly demanding applications, we have been able to develop into one of the manufacturers of fermenting, cooling and freezing applications.
HISTORY
Foundation of HOKUMA
Horst Kunze ventured into self-employment with the sale of bakery machines and equipment with an attached repair workshop and small machine manufacturing in southern Germany.

Foundation of Kunze Maschinenbau
In the second generation, his son Hans-Uwe Kunze also ventured into self-employment after completing his engineering studies and took over the production of the company. He concentrated intensively on the development of fermentation, air-conditioning and refrigeration technology for the bakery industry.
Expansion of the product portfolio and founding of new subsidiaries
In addition to bakery technology and contract manufacturing, the product portfolio is expanded to include sales and production for the catering industry. Four sales subsidiaries are founded in the new federal states.

Investment in CNC technology
Progress through technology, due to the acquisition of the first large format CNC punching centre of the local district as well as a 4-meter CNC press brake.
Change of company name to KUNZE Bäckereitechnik GmbH
Oliver Kunze takes over KUNZE Bäckereitechnik GmbH as the company’s managing director. Due to globalization and the changing demand, the product portfolio was expanded under his management to include the area of industrial fermentation, cooling and freezing systems.

Move into a production facility with almost 1,500m² of production space. This is divided into 900m² production, mechanical processing and sheet metal processing as well as 400m² office space.
Takeover by a private investor
Takeover of KUNZE Bäckereitechnik by a private investor with simultaneous change of name to Allinox GmbH.

New foundation by DIRKRA Group
Foundation and integration of the new KUNZE Food Solutions GmbH into the DIRKRA Group.
Entry into fully automated sub-plants
Reorientation of the company with the development of new automation concepts as well as the engineering of fully automated industrial plants for the bakery industry.

In order to support a sustainable and strategic development of the company, the legal form of KUNZE Food Solutions GmbH was changed to KUNZE Food Solutions GmbH & Co.KG while preserving the company’s identity.
